Our Math Focus Until Christmas Break!

From now till Christmas break we will be working on adding double digit numbers using re-grouping. This is exactly like the term you may be more comfortable with...carrying. They add the ones together and then if there are more than ten ones they re-group them into the tens column. Take a look at the picture below. This is how I am teaching the kids how to do it.
